Just outside the built-up area of ​​Wijster, Central Drenthe, lies the surprising Galerie del Campo. In a converted farmhouse, both owners Lizette Groffen and Jan den Uijl offer the visitor high-profile exhibitions of a unique art combination: designer furniture by Jan himself, ceramics, glass and photography. There is a continuous exhibition of leading artists from home and abroad.

The year 2020 has started with an exhibition around the 40th anniversary of the ceramist Willy van Bussel. For this occasion he has made 40 small porcelain bowls.You can also admire work by ceramists Yuk Kan Yeung, Monika Debus, Liesbeth Kamp and Nirdosh Petra van Heesbeen, glass artists Mieke Groot, Richard Meitner, Ria Lap, Thea Figee, Richard Price and Geir Nustad and photographers Harry Cock and Sake. Elzinga. All these artists display their work for a longer period of time. New artists will regularly be invited to exhibit during the year, so that there is always a changing selection.
